Alina in Deutschland: ENDLICH FERIEN

So what´s new?

Well first of all IT´S FINALLY CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY!! 2 weeks of nonstop eating and presents - I´m ready! I´m really excited about this years Christmas, because it´s going to be so different and new!!! About my Christmas-time experience I´m going to write later of course, and I´m going to share a looot of pics then :3:3:3

About my last two weeks :

08.-14.12
On Monday was my Grannys birthday!!<3
On Tuesday I went to Helens house to make caramel candies for our school´s Christmasmarket, and well to put it in to simple words - we ruined it. I think we probably put a liiittle bit too much of sugar in, and we were trying to melt it for over two hours. We put it outside to cool down, and then two days later it wasn´t still hard... so we just ended up doing simple fruit-stick-thingies. The Christmas market was pretty cute actually, all of the classes had made some Christmas related foods or other workshops.
On Friday we went to eat pizza with our class and afterwards went to the cinema to see the Mockingjay. We has the whole cinema hall just for us, so we could sit where ever we wanted to, so we took over the VIP-places haahaa... :3
On Saturday morning we drove to Jena, and at first did some Christmas shopping, and then we had a YFU-meeting, with other exchange students and their families in Thüringen. The meeting was really fun, and of course we got a lot of food and I also got to meet a bunch of new people :)
On Sunday we went to a glass factory-store in Lauscha, and we got to make our own Christmas tree decorations. We also went through the shop, and I think I´ve never seen so many different Christmas decorations in one room, and in some corners it was really awkward to move, ´cause I was afraid I´d break something and ruin everything :D:D

15.-21.12
On Wednesday was my Dads birthday, and if you´re reading this right now then HAPPY BIRTHDAY ONCE AGAIN ! :) Also on that exact day was Helens birthday (happy birthday to you too :* ) and our Christmas show from gymnastics. Our performance didn´t go perfectly good, but it was okay.. :) It was also my first ever show in gymnastics, and I was literally so nervous that I could´ve peed my pants :s
Friday was the last day of school aaand we had the Christmas ball ! I didn´t really like the whole security business there. Like only people over 16 could come, AND everybody under 18 had to have like a ´mommy´(student/person over 18 who was also in the dance) who had to sign your paperthingie, AND your parents had to also sign it, and also write down how long you could stay, AND you had to bring a copy of your parents ID card, and they also checked our bags, like what :D Nevertheless we had fun, and I think everybody managed to get in and find a ´mommy´ and had a chance to enjoy the night :):)
